Roasted Chicken Thighs

This dish is a simple and easy to prepare dish that use the Char Siew Sauce, which I shared yesterday. It is also a dish that very suitable for Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner. The original recipe meant for chicken thighs, but I had tried duck thighs , whole chicken and whole duck, all work well. In fact I like to use the duck thighs. Thus I believe it also works for goose and turkey although I had not tried.

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 2 chicken thighs or duck thighs (also can use whole bird or other birds)
  • 3 tablespoon Char Siew Sauce

 Instructions

  1. Clean chicken thighs and pat dry. Marinate with Char Siew Sauce for 2 hours.
  2. Wrap chicken thighs in aluminum foil and grill at 180°C for 30 minutes. Unwarp and continue tp grill for another 15 minutes till the skin turn to golden brown. Remove, cut into pieces and serve.

Cooking Time 3 hours including marinate setting time.
