Review On Ricciotti

On last Friday, TGIF evening, having a dinner gathering with another 5 ladies at this Italian restaurant sit along the riverbank of Singapore River. This Italian restaurant is under the Riverwalk Hotel. It has indoor dinning area and also outdoor dinning area and a nice place for drink. If I’m not wrong, this restaurant had been there for many years. In Singapore, there is no lack of Italian restaurants thus very competitive in SIngapore.

The service is excellence, the serving staffs are very sociable, friendly and they know their menu and products well. That is very important for restaurant,  my thought is both good food quality and good services is needed for a successful restaurant.

We ordered 3 starters,  Calamari, Parmigiana di Melanzane and Orzotto Barbabietola e Caprino.  We also ordered 3 main course Pizza Mezzo Metro with favour consists of Pizzotto, Tartufo and Seafood, pasta  Cartoccio di Spaghetti alla Marinara and Spaghetti Alle Sale, which is the Chef Special of the day. We have Soffiato for dessert.

For the food the quality is good, however, I don’t think they have the best Italian cuisine in Singapore. Having say that, this restaurant still worth visit or worth going back as the total experience still score quite well. The calamari is nice and we are not chewing rubber band. I like the pizza, it is thin crust and combined 3 favors in a single base which we can taste the different favor. And the 3 favors we choose work well for us. I also like the desert. At first I taste the gelato alone, it is very sweet, however, when I eat it together with the molten dark chocolate it is is very nicely blended with the bitter taste from the dark chocolate. What I also notice and like about this place is that it carrying a wide selection of Italian wine and liquors. It is a good place for chill-out, gathering with good quality food.
